Finance Manager

We are GuestReady, a global short-term and vacation-rental management company! We provide professional services to real estate investors, hosts, as well as guests. Our mission is to take the hassle out of short-term rentals through tech-enabled solutions. Any operations that are related to turning over guests and optimise listings to incur a maximum yield for the host are handled by us.

GuestReady is co-founded by seasoned entrepreneurs and operates in Europe and Asia.

We are growing and expanding our team and are looking for a bright and motivated young person to join our team as Finance Manager.

Responsibilities:

Your responsibility will be assisting the CFO in the day-to-day operation aspects of managing finance processes globally. We are 100% cloud-based and you will be overseeing the efficient execution of accounting, reporting, planning, budgeting and controlling.

We recently acquired a smaller player and you will assist in continued post merger integration, trouble shooting systems and implementing processes for more efficient operations.

You will be responsible for monthly payments and invoicing, reporting cycle and close processes, and will actively look to improve all financial systems and processes as we scale.

You will oversee a team of two within the finance department, ensure high quality standards of the team’s output and continuously motivate them to reach the company’s goals.

You will work with external advisors to run monthly payroll, ensure VAT and corporation tax submissions are performed on time, and provide support to oversees subsidiaries.

Expectations

Excellent track record in a comparable position within a corporate or a Big 4 firm
Expertise in accounting and controlling (2-4 years relevant experience)
Knowledge of corporate finance, cost management, business planning and financial modelling
Business or finance degree (or degree in accounting, statistics, or economics)
Leadership experience managing project teams
Ability to break high level concepts down to detailed activities ready for implementation
Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders such as investors, audit firms, consulting firms, government authorities, etc.
Strong communication skills in English; French will be an asset
Hands-on and can-do attitude
Highest ethical and professional quality standards
Detail oriented, strong focus on quality
